Mission Statement

The Renaissance Newark Foundation (RNF) is the 501(c)(3) affiliate organization of the Newark Regional Business Partnership. Committed to Newark’s bright future, RNF harnesses the power of education, research, and civic participation to fuel economic development, attract businesses, and create pathways to success for Newark’s diverse communities.

Over the years, RNF has played a pivotal role in shaping Newark’s business and cultural landscape—conducting the early research that led to the development of the Prudential Center, supporting the establishment of the Greater Newark Convention and Visitors Bureau, sponsoring Newark-focused documentaries and operating the Newark Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!), which guided local students in launching real businesses.
