The SEBI program is designed to introduce small businesses to the full benefits of chamber of commerce participation, providing them with tools, resources, and guidance to grow and succeed. By making membership more accessible, SEBI helps emerging businesses connect with peers, industry leaders, and decision-makers, while fostering long-term engagement in Newark’s vibrant business community.

This program strengthens the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and ensures that small businesses have the support and networks they need to thrive.

The SEBI program can accept 20 businesses each year. Businesses accepted into the program receive a one-year membership in NRBP, which is renewable for one additional year, and are afforded the benefits of full membership at the Anchor tier level at no cost.

The SEBI program was launched in 2021 in partnership with Prudential Financial.
